MBE I/O Server by Intellution, Inc. is an industrial communications driver designed to connect Intellution HMI/SCADA systems (such as iFIX and FIX) to Modbus/TCP-compatible PLCs and field devices. It enables reliable, real-time data acquisition and control over Ethernet, providing a streamlined way to read and write coils, discrete inputs, holding registers, and input registers.
The server offers flexible addressing, configurable polling rates, and options for data typing, scaling, and byte/word ordering to match device-specific requirements. Built-in diagnostics, counters, and logging help operators monitor communications health and quickly troubleshoot issues, while quality and timestamp information support robust decision-making at the HMI.
